What is in the range
This category covers the bits that make a presentation, performance or
outdoor event actually work: modular stage decks,
covered truss stages, mobile trailer stages,
PA speakers,
lecterns, sound engineers,
festoon lighting, LED battens, floodlights,
emergency lights and the Stephill SLT5000 lighting tower.
You will see the same sort of hire listed as event production, AV hire,
PA hire, stage hire, event lighting or outdoor event infrastructure.
We use those names too when they are useful, but most bookings are just a
practical mix of raised platform, microphones, speakers, lights and an
engineer on site to run it when the job needs one.
The stage end starts with 1x1m InteliStage decks
and standard modular stage heights of 200mm, 540mm and 725mm. The compact
3x3m mini stage is built for exhibition
halls, product demos and small speaker sessions, with a 6m by 6m working
footprint including clearance. The 4x4m covered stage
suits smaller festivals, light switch-ons and product launches. The
6x6m covered truss stage gives 36 square
metres of deck space with rigging points for PA and lighting, while the
7x6m mobile trailer stage has
a listed one-hour setup time when you want a roof, side walls and a 42m²
stage area for an outdoor event.
Sound can be as simple as a single 15-inch 800W Bluetooth PA speaker with
USB, SD and microphone inputs, or it can be a full line array system with
microphones, monitors and an engineer. The lighting range is just as mixed:
warm festoon runs priced per 100 metres, 150W IP65 floodlights with 12,000
lumens each, marquee strip lights and exit lights, plus the Stephill
SLT5000 mobile light tower with four 200W LED heads, a 5.4m mast and 4.5kVA
generator output.
We own and maintain 95% of the equipment on the website, store it in our
25,000 sq ft warehouse, and send it out on our own vehicles. For stage and
sound work that matters, because a missing cable, a late engineer or a
stage document stuck with a different supplier can hold up the whole build.
