A staffed Logic System PA package for conferences, exhibitions, DJs, live acts and stage-led events, from £395 plus VAT.

A Full PA Package With Someone to Run It

This is our large 6K Logic System PA hire package, also described as a staffed sound system, conference PA or front-of-house sound package. It sits above the standalone 800W PA speaker and is the sensible option when you have several microphones, presenters moving around, a DJ or performers who need monitors on stage.

The package includes the main PA, two stage monitors, an eight-channel mixing desk, two wired microphones and two wireless microphones. The wireless pair can be two handhelds, or one handheld with a head-worn or lapel mic for a presenter who needs both hands free. CD playback is included, and either a DJ or sound engineer comes with the system to set it up and run it during the event.

An eight-channel desk is enough for the package as listed, but it is not an unlimited band input list. Tell us about every microphone, laptop, playback device, instrument and AV feed when you enquire and we will check the system against the actual show rather than guessing from an audience number.

Logic System describes itself as a British professional loudspeaker brand founded in England in 1983. The exact speaker layout is set for the venue and programme; 6K describes this hire package, not a promise that one fixed audience capacity suits every hall or outdoor site.

    The wireless handheld or lapel option works for product demonstrations, launches and scheduled talks where the presenter needs to move around the stand rather than stay behind a lectern.

  • Conferences and Panels

    Four included microphones and an operator suit speaker sessions, panels and awards, provided the full microphone and AV input list fits the eight-channel desk.

  • DJs and Live Acts

    CD playback, stage monitors and an included DJ or engineer make this a staffed package rather than dry speaker hire. Larger band input lists are quoted separately.

    We have used 6K PA packages for sports activations, awards and stage-led events. Outdoor positioning, power and weather cover are checked for the individual site.

    Use wired mics at the lectern and wireless mics for hosts or recipients, with the engineer balancing levels as people change through the event.

What the Operator Does

The operator sets up the PA and desk, checks the microphones and playback, runs a sound check and looks after the mix while the event is live. That matters at conferences and exhibitions because one presenter may speak quietly into a lapel mic while the next uses a handheld, and it matters even more when a DJ or live act follows the speeches.

Send us a simple running order if you have one. We need to know who is speaking or performing, which microphone each person needs, what is providing the music, whether another AV supplier is sending us an audio feed, and where front-of-house can sit. At venues such as NEC Birmingham, ExCeL London and Manchester Central, those details are best agreed before the loading doors open.

Separate 6K PA bookings in our event records include a system with MC support at Sheffield Hallam Sports Park and a 6K rig alongside a mobile trailer stage at Newark Showground. Those records do not identify the speaker brand, so we do not present them as confirmed outings for this exact Logic rig. Our larger stage-and-sound inventory includes flown line-array systems too, as used at Kelham Island Museum, but those are specified and quoted to the job rather than being passed off as this fixed package.

The starting price is £395 plus VAT. Travel, operating hours and any venue-specific power, additional inputs, microphone stands, extra microphones, lighting or staging are confirmed in the quote. For exhibition and conference work, tell us the stand or room dimensions, expected audience, speaker position, venue power arrangements and any AV feeds. We use those details to decide whether this package fits or whether a smaller or larger system makes more sense.

We have traded since 1999 and store our equipment in a 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. This PA equipment is ours, and the wider business owns and operates 95% of the kit shown on the website. We arrange delivery, setup and collection with our own team.

Questions About the 6K PA

Which microphones come with the 6K PA package?

It includes two wired microphones and two wireless microphones. The wireless pair can be two handhelds, or one handheld plus one head-worn or lapel mic. The second arrangement is useful for a conference presenter or product demonstrator who needs both hands free.

Can this system handle a live band or panel?

It depends on the input list. The included desk has eight channels, so four supplied microphones leave limited room for instruments, playback and feeds from other AV equipment. Send us the complete source list and running order; if it exceeds the package, we will quote the larger desk and PA setup it actually needs.

Is the 6K package the same as your line-array PA?

No. This page is for the staffed Logic System 6K package. We also carry larger line-array systems for covered stages and wider stage-and-sound jobs, including flown systems, but those are designed and quoted around the venue, stage and programme.

Is this supplied as dry hire?

No. A DJ or sound engineer is included to set up and operate this package. If you only need a simple self-operated speaker for background music or a small presentation, the standalone 15-inch 800W PA is the more appropriate product.
