The aluminium truss lectern in the photo is the one most people end up hiring. It is built from aluminium truss in a natural silver finish, with a slanted top plate big enough for a printed script, a tablet or a laptop.
It takes a clip-on or gooseneck microphone, and we can run it into a PA system so a single speaker is heard across a full room. We supply a few different lecterns to suit the look of the event, and the aluminium truss one is the most popular for conferences and award nights. If you want it branded, our in-house team can usually add your logo or event signage to the front.

Building The Rest Of The Setup Around It
A lectern rarely turns up on its own. Most of the conferences and award nights we supply it to also need a stage to put it on, a PA and speakers so the room can hear, and often a sound engineer to look after the mix during the event. We have been hiring out event equipment from our warehouse near the M1 in Sheffield since 1999, and most of it is owned and maintained in-house rather than sub-hired, so the lectern that arrives is the one in the photo. We have supplied staging and PA into venues from the NEC in Birmingham to ExCeL in London, and because it all comes from one place you deal with one team and one invoice.
