These are the lights we reach for when a marquee, walkway or temporary structure needs proper illumination rather than a few festoon bulbs. They're TRILUX Araxeon weatherproof LED battens - 1.5m long, IP66 rated, with a tough glass-fibre-reinforced body - so they cope with condensation and weather that would finish an ordinary indoor fitting.

The clever bit is the Wieland rapid plug system. Each fitting has a connector at both ends, so they plug together in a run without anyone re-wiring on site. That's how the long marquee walkway in the gallery got lit - one of our lighting installs, a covered walkway over a car park.

They're a few quid each to hire, and cheaper again on longer-term jobs. We hire or sell them, and if the structure needs power and heating as well as light, we can quote the whole lot together.

Good to know

LEDs reach full brightness the instant they're switched on, so there's no warm-up wait on a cold morning, and the fittings are light enough to mount along marquee roof bars without extra support.

If you're lighting a temporary structure you'll often need power and heating too - we stock all three, so one delivery covers the lot. Tell us what you're building and we'll spec it with you.

Which locations do we cover?

We've been supplying event kit from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse near Sheffield since 1999, five minutes from the M1, so same-day and next-day delivery is realistic for most of the country. These lights go out with marquee and exhibition jobs everywhere from local fundays to the big venues like the NEC, ExCeL London and Manchester Central, delivered in our own vehicles by our own team.
