Crack the Code Safe Cracker Game

Crack the Code is a clear acrylic safe - also called a safe cracker, crack the safe, or guess the code game - that sits on a lit, branded plinth. You put a prize inside, lock it with a four-digit code on the keypad, and invite people to guess their way in. Get the code right and the door opens and the prize is theirs.

The box is see-through on every side, so whatever's inside is on show from across the room, which is most of the draw. The base lights up with colour-change LED, and we can set it to a single fixed colour to match your brand. The footprint is around 2ft by 2ft, so it fits on a shell-scheme stand without eating into your floor space.

How you hand out the codes is up to you, and it's where the game earns its keep on an exhibition stand. You can let people pick from a set of predetermined codes with one winner among them, print a code on a mailer for visitors to come and try at a launch, or ask for the last four digits of a phone number off a business card, which is a tidy way of gathering cards and contacts while people play. You decide whether each person gets one go or a few.

Branding and Prizes

The prize is whatever suits your event. We've seen the safe stocked with champagne and whisky, Amazon Echo kit, gift vouchers and promotional products, and for car launches people have put a set of keys in for the use of a car for the weekend. Anything that fits in the box and is worth queuing for tends to work.

The plinth is the part people remember, and we brand it for you. The unit in these photos went out for SimplyBiz Group with their "Crack the Code" artwork wrapped around all four sides, printed, applied and removed by us. Full print to four sides of the base is £199+VAT. There's more on our branding service.

Our team delivers, sets up and installs it on site, and you get a full operational tutorial and instructions so your own staff or brand ambassadors can run it. If you'd rather not tie up your people, we can arrange promotional staff to run the game instead. We hold a couple of these units, so if you're activating across more than one stand or site on the same day, that's usually workable, so mention it when you enquire.

Venues We Deliver To

We hire from a 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18, so most of the UK is within easy reach. We regularly deliver exhibition games to NEC Birmingham, ExCeL London, Manchester Central, Olympia London and Harrogate Convention Centre, with Europe-wide delivery available for larger packages.

We own and maintain 95% of the kit we hire and have been supplying exhibition and interactive games since 1999, so the safe turns up tested and ready, with one delivery, one invoice and one contact for your whole stand.
