Giant Tilting Labyrinth Hire

The Giant Labyrinth - also called a tilting labyrinth, tilt maze, marble maze, or labyrinth tilt maze - is a 4ft × 3.5ft playing surface of raised wooden walls and numbered hazard holes, controlled by two knobs on adjacent sides of the unit. One knob tilts the board front-to-back and the other tilts it left-to-right. Work both at the same time and you can steer a ball in any direction through the maze; let the tilt get away from you and the ball drops through one of the numbered holes.

The aim is to guide the ball through the maze without dropping it through any of the numbered holes. It takes about thirty seconds to explain and the rest is concentration - which means guests can walk up, have a go, and come back for another attempt without needing anyone standing beside it to run the game.

In two-player mode, each person takes one knob and controls one axis of tilt. That turns it from a solo dexterity challenge into a coordination exercise - you have to communicate to steer the ball together, which is what makes it useful as a team building activity rather than just a standalone game.

We've been supplying games and exhibition equipment since 1999, from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18.

Branding

All four side panels of the unit take full custom wrapping - printed, applied, and removed by our in-house team in Rotherham, so there's no outside print supplier involved. Two panels are 960mm × 280mm and two are 1165mm × 280mm, which gives enough surface area for a logo and a strapline. Print to all four sides costs £139. The sticker transfers are for a single hire period.

We've supplied the labyrinth in Rundles branding on more than one occasion - the gallery below includes a couple of installs from their trade show appearances, which gives a good sense of how the custom wrap looks in a real exhibition setting.

If you're building a branded stand with several games, the labyrinth works alongside Giant Buzz Wire, Giant Connect 4 and Giant Operation - all of which share the same no-power format and take the same style of branding.

From our Rotherham base we deliver to all the main UK exhibition venues - NEC Birmingham, ExCeL London, Manchester Central, Olympia and the rest. The A1, M1 and M18 are all about five minutes from the warehouse, which helps keep costs down on deliveries to London, Birmingham, Leeds and the regions in between.
