Olympia London sits on Hammersmith Road in West Kensington, London W14 8UX, across a four-acre site with around 45,000 square metres of space in it. The halls run from the two-level Grand Hall through the National Hall at roughly 8,730 square metres to the West Hall on two floors, plus a convention centre and the newer Square. It hosts consumer shows, trade exhibitions, conferences and live music, so the building might be running a baby show one week and a data conference the next.
The site has been through a substantial redevelopment, with hotels, restaurants and new entertainment space added around the halls. For exhibitors that mostly means the access routes and the surrounding streets are not what they were a few years ago, so it is worth reading the organiser manual rather than working from memory.
What suits an Olympia stand
Olympia's halls are older and more architectural than a modern shed, and the galleried Grand Hall in particular changes what a stand looks like from a distance. Compact free-standing games work well here because a shell scheme in a listed-feel hall is rarely generous on floor space, and because anything that needs fixing to structure is a non-starter.
