IPS Podium Challenge Hire
The IPS Podium Challenge puts ten wireless light-up cones across your event space. One cone illuminates, players run to touch it, the hit registers on the portable digital scoreboard, and the next cone activates. The system - also known as interactive sports cones or IPS sports cones - is completely wireless, so there are no cables running between the cones and the control unit, and the layout is entirely up to you.
You can spread the cones widely for a running and reaction challenge, close them up for an agility drill, or arrange them in a horseshoe for head-to-head play - each configuration changes the physical demands without changing the equipment. We've run the IPS cones at Rotherham United's fan zone and at corporate sports days, and the setup suits either context.
The game also works as a football or basketball training exercise. Players dribble to the lit cone rather than just running to it, which adds a ball-skills layer and gives coaches a drill format that holds a group's attention - particularly useful at school sports days and team-building sessions with a sports theme.
