Revolution - Two-Player Stop the Light Game
Revolution is the two-player, head-to-head version of The Vault. Where The Vault is a solo challenge, Revolution puts two players on at the same time, each facing their own circular LED ring with an orbiting white light.
Each player has a large dome trigger button - either handheld on a coil cord or mounted in front of their ring, depending on configuration. A white light travels around the ring, and the idea is to press your trigger at the moment it passes through the target zone. An accurate stop scores a point; a miss costs you time. Both players are racing the same 30-second clock, which means you're watching your own ring and keeping half an eye on your opponent's score at the same time.
There are four difficulty levels, set via a central slider between the two rings. At the easier settings the light travels at a pace most people can handle first go; by level four it's moving fast enough that close attention to the ring stops being optional. The game handles this well for mixed audiences - staff who've played a few times will be on four, guests arriving fresh can start on two.
The game is sometimes listed elsewhere as a "stop the light" game or a two-player reaction arcade game. We've supplied it to Amazon Associate Forum events and evening parties, alongside other reaction games as part of a competition setup.
We've been hiring out exhibition and reaction games since 1999, and we own and maintain this unit in-house from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham - five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18.
