The Reaction Table is an inflatable two-player game where the playing surface is laid flat across a waist-height table rather than upright on a panel. At 8.5 feet long, it has a set of dome-shaped LED sensor buttons spread across the black playing surface - fewer buttons than our Strike a Light, but distributed over a bigger area, which means both players end up moving around the table to reach them as they light up.

Both players stand on opposite long sides of the table and race to put out the buttons lighting up on their half. A separate digital scoreboard sits at the end of the table and tracks both scores on a countdown timer.

Three game modes are built into the unit. The flat table format sits lower than the upright reaction games, which makes it accessible for younger players and gives it a distinct look on a stand where you might have two or three reaction games running side by side.

How It Works

Players stand on opposite long sides of the table and the game counts down a timed round. Dome-shaped buttons across the surface light up at random, and each player races to put out the lights on their side before they go off again. The digital scoreboard tracks points separately for each player throughout the round and shows the result when time runs out.

Three game modes are built in, so you can vary the format across the day without any setup changes. Rounds are short enough to keep a steady flow of players without long waits, which makes it a reasonable choice for high-footfall settings where you want engagement but not a queue stretching into the next aisle.

Because it sits flat rather than upright, the Reaction Table is lower than the Batak or Strike a Light - and it reads a bit differently in a crowd, which is useful if you have multiple reaction games on the same stand and want each one to look distinct.

We own and operate this unit in-house, so there is no third-party supplier between you and the equipment. Risk assessments and method statements can be emailed to your venue before the event if your H&S team needs them in advance.
