Working on the doorstep
Harrogate is about 55 miles up the A1 from us and Leeds is nearer 35. For a Yorkshire booking the logistics question more or less disappears, and what is left is the actual work of picking kit and getting the branding right. It also means we can take on the jobs other suppliers price themselves out of, like a single game for one day, or a delivery that has to happen at seven in the morning because that is when the hall opens.

The venues
Harrogate Convention Centre on Kings Road is the serious exhibition venue of the three, running long-established trade shows and consumer exhibitions across its linked halls and the Royal Hall. We have supplied stands there for exhibitors and organisers, including a fully branded Batak Pro with a Magnetic Topgear leader board for a UK trade exhibition organiser, with custom header and board branding designed to pull competitive footfall onto the stand.
A couple of miles away, the Yorkshire Event Centre sits on the Great Yorkshire Showground on Railway Road. We have supplied events there and at the Great Yorkshire Show since 2021, including a Social Media Photo Booth for show content capture and combined bookings of Double Shot Basketball, an Interactive Archery Arena and a Table Tennis Table for breakout zones.
Leeds First Direct Arena covers the arena end, where activations tend to sit on a concourse or in a hospitality suite rather than on an exhibition floor.

Shows, showgrounds and everything between
An agricultural showground is not an exhibition hall, and pretending otherwise is how people end up with the wrong kit. Showground work is outdoor, weather-dependent and usually spread across a large site, which pushes it towards the bigger attractions and towards our own generators rather than a mains spur. Convention centre work is the opposite, and wants something compact that runs off a 13A socket.
