Spin the Wheel Game Hire

The Prize Wheel is the classic spinning wheel game you'll have seen on exhibition stands and side stalls - also called Spin the Wheel, a Spin to Win wheel, a spinning wheel or, when it's the electronic version, a Wheel of Fortune. It's a freestanding floor unit on its own white plinth, with a striped column and a pointer flapper at the top that clicks round as the wheel slows. Someone gives it a spin, the flapper ticks down, and wherever it stops is what they've won.

The face is split into 32 numbered segments. In its standard finish it's a red-and-white circus design with an ornate gold "Prize Wheel" banner across the middle and a ring of bulb lights round the rim, but the whole thing - wheel face and column both - is built to be wrapped in your own branding, so most clients run it in their own colours rather than the standard look.

You choose what goes on each segment and how the odds fall, so it can be all prizes, mostly "spin again", or anything in between. That makes it as much a lead-capture and footfall tool as a game - people will queue for a spin, and that's the moment to scan a badge or take an email.

You Set the Prizes and the Odds

The point of a prize wheel is that you decide what's on it. The segments are yours to fill - actual prizes, discount codes, "better luck next time", "spin again", entries into a bigger draw - and the odds for each are something we can set with you, so a headline prize can be genuinely rare while the everyday ones come up often enough to keep a queue interested.

A few ways clients have run ours:

  • A pizza company took it to a freshers' fair with the whole wheel branded in their colours, giving out pizza slices, a free drink with an order and the odd "better luck next time" - and gathered a long list of student contacts off the back of a spin.
  • A Sheffield bar wrapped it for an opening night, with free shots, free drinks and drinks vouchers, and let anyone who'd spent at least £5 have a go. We staffed that one so the bar team could get on with serving.
  • A local charity ran it at a quiz night to raise funds, charging for each spin with a prize every time and the wheel wrapped in the charity's logo.

Branding

The wheel face and the column both take a full printed wrap, handled in-house by our branding team from artwork through to removal after the event. We've wrapped it in a dental group's navy and gold with "Spin to Win" down the column and their offers - free whitening, a free consultation, money off at each clinic - set across the segments. Send us your logo and a rough idea and we'll come back with options. Hire it for a few hours, a full day, or on a longer booking if you're running a promotion over a season.

Common Questions

Can we choose the prizes and how often each one comes up?

Yes. The 32 segments are yours to fill, and the odds for each prize are something we set with you - so a top prize can be genuinely rare while the smaller ones land often enough to keep people spinning. You can run it as all-prizes, or mix in "spin again" and "better luck next time".

Can the whole wheel be branded?

Both the wheel face and the column take a full printed wrap, done in-house from your artwork. We've run it in a dental group's navy and gold with their offers across the segments and "Spin to Win" down the column, for example. Send us your logo and we'll come back with options.

What's the difference between this and your Wheel of Fortune?

This is the traditional spun-by-hand wheel with a clicking flapper. Our electronic Wheel of Fortune is the LED version - you press a button and the lights chase round the rim before settling on a segment. Some clients take both and stand them side by side, which is how they appear in a couple of the photos here.

Can you run it for us on the day?

We can supply a trained attendant to run the wheel hands-free, take spins and hand out prizes, so your own staff can get on with the stand or the bar. A Sheffield bar had us do exactly that for an opening night.

Related Products

The Prize Wheel is the classic crowd-puller for a stand or a side stall, and it sits well with the other prize games below - particularly the electronic Wheel of Fortune and Plinko, which it's often stood next to. They all suit the same exhibition, carnival and freshers fair jobs. For a full prize-giveaway setup, drop us a message and we'll suggest a mix.
