A Single Board with the Classic Postcard Joke
Set 2 is one 100cm x 180cm face-in-the-hole board rather than the three you get with our main beach-themed cut-out set, and the artwork goes for the old seaside postcard reversal. A skinny man in blue-and-white striped trunks is carrying a much larger woman in his arms across the sand - painted knees buckling, sweat drops flying - while she sits in a red-and-white striped bathing suit and a little sailor-style hat with her legs dangling over his arm. There is a face hole cut into each of their heads, so a pair of guests take both parts at once. Around them the board runs through the full seaside kit: blue sky, turquoise waves, a red sailboat, a red-and-yellow lifeguard flag and a starfish on the sand.
The board stands on its own metal frame, so it holds itself upright on grass or hard standing without anyone steadying it, and there is nothing to plug in. Guests put their faces through the holes, someone takes the photo on a phone, and the next pair steps up. If you have heard it called a peep board, a photo stand-in or a head-through-the-hole board, it is the same thing.
