Tabletop Clown Beanbag Toss Hire

Clowning Around is a tabletop beanbag toss made by Wertz Werkz, model CAT-101. There are nine knock-down clown targets in the unit we hire, with four on the upper row and five below, and the set comes with six coloured beanbags. The manufacturer's rule is plain enough: throw the bags and knock down as many clowns as you can.

You may also know this sort of game as a knock-down clown game, clown beanbag toss or tabletop carnival game. There are no printed point values or digital scoring display on this model, so a result is simply the number of clowns knocked down. It gives your stand team a competition they can explain without turning it into a technical demonstration.

The cabinet is 50in long, 9in wide and 33in tall, and it weighs 70lb. Those are the manufacturer's measurements for the game itself, not a complete stand footprint, so the supporting table and a sensible throwing area still need to be allowed for in your layout.

For Exhibition Stands and Trade Shows

This is one of the smaller carnival skill games in the range, and the 50in-wide cabinet sits on a table rather than becoming a full side stall. It can work on an exhibition stand where you want a physical game that visitors understand by looking at it, provided there is enough room in front for the throwing line. Send us the stand plan and we will work around the space you actually have rather than guessing at a required area.

We supply this model in its standard red and yellow carnival finish rather than with a custom wrap. For a brand activation, the surrounding stand carries the campaign artwork. If branding the game itself is central to the brief, our Prize Wheel and Plinko can carry custom graphics.

Clowning Around also sits naturally with Roller Bowler, Flap Attack or Strike Zone when a stand or hospitality area needs a small row of carnival games rather than one large attraction.

Experience Behind the Hire

We have supplied exhibition games since 1999 and work from a 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, where 95% of the equipment on this website is owned and operated in-house. Delivery and setup come through our own team, so one supplier handles the game from the warehouse to the finished stand.

We regularly work at NEC Birmingham, ExCeL London and Manchester Central. Tell us the hall, stand number and access window when you enquire, and we can plan Clowning Around alongside the rest of your exhibition equipment.

Review From a Carnival Games Booking

Sophie hired a package of carnival games from us and said:

We hired a number of pieces of carnival games from DB Entertainment and wow! It was incredible, great value for money, super friendly and punctual staff.

That sort of multi-game order is where Clowning Around makes most sense if you have room for more than one tabletop challenge. The Grand Carnival Fun Fair Stalls are the larger alternative when the brief calls for a complete side-stall setup.

Clowning Around Questions

How many clown targets and beanbags are there?

Our unit has nine clown targets, arranged as four on the upper row and five below. Wertz Werkz supplies the CAT-101 with six beanbags, and all six are included with the hire.

Does Clowning Around have built-in scoring?

No fixed point values or digital score display are fitted to this model. Wertz Werkz describes the aim as knocking down as many clowns as possible, so you can count the fallen targets for each attempt.

How much exhibition stand space does it need?

The game itself measures 50in long x 9in wide x 33in tall and weighs 70lb. That does not include its supporting table or the player and throwing area. Send us your stand plan and we will confirm a workable layout from the space available.

Can the Clowning Around cabinet be branded?

We supply this model in its standard red, yellow and black carnival artwork rather than with a custom wrap. If the game itself must carry campaign graphics, look at our Prize Wheel or Plinko instead.
