A Small Game with a Clear Score

Flap Attack is a Wertz Werkz tabletop carnival game, sometimes called a tabletop bowling game or scoring flap game. Two people play alongside one another, each rolling a mini bowling ball up their own inclined lane. The ball passes seven yellow flaps marked 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 and 100, and the furthest flap reached gives the score.

A soft roll leaves the player with one of the lower numbers. Put too much behind it and the ball goes beyond the 100 flap and off the end for no score. The rules take very little explaining, but there is enough judgement in the roll for a quick rematch to make sense.

For a trade show, this gives you a two-person activity with an immediate result and no screen, app or electrical connection. It fits a 6-8ft trestle table, so it can be worked into a stand plan without finding room for a full arcade cabinet or an inflatable.

Supplied by an Exhibition Team

We have supplied exhibition games since 1999 and hold around 95% of the equipment on this site ourselves. Flap Attack goes out from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, near Sheffield and about five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18, rather than being brought in from another hire firm for your job.

Our own team handles delivery, setup and collection. We carry £5 million public liability insurance as standard, and risk assessments, method statements and insurance certificates can be emailed to you or the venue before the event.

We regularly deliver exhibition equipment to venues including ExCeL London, NEC Birmingham and Manchester Central. Tell us where the stand is, along with the loading and build details you have, and we will include the practical side in the quote.

Custom bottom-board and scoreboard branding is optional rather than part of the standard hire. Delivery charges and minimum order values can vary with the venue, hire period and the rest of the booking, so we will set those out clearly in your quote.

Flap Attack Questions

Does Flap Attack need an electrical supply?

No. Flap Attack is a mechanical rolling-ball game, so it does not need mains power or a generator.

How does the scoring work?

Each lane has seven flaps worth 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 and 100 points. The aim is to roll far enough to reach a high-value flap without sending the ball off the end, which scores nothing.

Can Flap Attack carry our exhibition branding?

Yes. Our in-house team can brand the bottom board and scoreboard for trade-stand and activation work. Send the brief with your enquiry so we can confirm what is suitable.

What size table does Flap Attack use?
