Flap Attack Hire - Two-Lane Scoring Flap Game
Flap Attack is a two-lane, head-to-head tabletop game - also described as a scoring flap game, tabletop bowling game, or ball roll flap game. Two players stand side by side on a 6ft unit, one ball each, and roll a mini bowling ball up a guided channel toward a row of yellow scoring flaps numbered from 10 at the near end to 100 at the far end.
The challenge is getting the pace right. Roll with too little force and the ball stops on one of the low-scoring flaps near the start. Roll too hard and the ball passes all the flaps and drops off the far end, which scores nothing. Finding the right push to reach the 75 or 100 flap takes a few attempts, and most guests come back for another go before they're satisfied - which is what makes it work as a carnival game without needing a barker or a prize mechanic to keep people interested.
No power is needed, the unit is self-explanatory without a dedicated operator, and it has been part of our regular multi-game packages at venues including Barnsley Metrodome alongside King of the Hill and Strike Zone.
