A proper folding table for catering, canteens and events
The Gopak Economy folding table is the canteen table we send out when a client needs a decent surface that can be wiped down, folded flat and loaded back into the van at the end of the night. It is 1830mm long by 685mm wide with a 698mm working height - big enough for six to eight people, small enough to move through a standard doorway.
The top is a hard-wearing Durham Oak laminate with an aluminium edge trim, and the frame is lightweight aluminium with a simple fail-safe folding mechanism. There are no pinch points and the legs fold back under the top so the whole thing sits at about 85mm deep for storage and transport. We list the weight as around 13kg, which is about right for the largest size in the Gopak Economy range.
These are the tables we have supplied into Amazon fulfilment canteens and similar large staff dining setups - set them in rows for a canteen, around the edge of a marquee for buffet service, or along the back of an exhibition stand. They also work well as registration desks, queueing tables or temporary office workstations.
We have been hiring out event furniture from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham since 1999. We own the stock, maintain it in-house and deliver in our own vehicles, so the tables that arrive are the tables in the photos. Every hire includes £5 million public liability insurance, with risk assessments and method statements emailed to you or your venue before the event.
