Tin Can Alley flight-case stall with eight numbered cans stacked in a pyramid, ready for players to throw

Tin Can Alley Stall Hire

Hire this flight-cased fairground stall from £295.

A stand game visitors already know how to play

Tin Can Alley - also sold as a tin can side stall - doesn't need explaining before someone has a go. Eight red tin cans, numbered 1 to 8, are stacked in a pyramid on the shelf:

Row Cans
Top 1
Second 3, 2
Third 4, 5, 6
Front 8, 7

The stall's own backboard spells out the job in the same yellow fairground lettering as the header above it: get all eight cans off the board in three throws and it's a win.

The whole game folds into a single red flight case. Open the lid and it swings up on its own hinges to become the striped "All Off The Board To Win" backboard, so there's no separate frame to build on site. Nothing needs plugging in either - it's worked entirely by hand, so it sits on a stand, in a hall or out on grass without adding anything to an electrical plan. Players just need a few metres of clear space in front of the counter to stand and throw.

Built for a stand, not just a fete

On an exhibition stand the appeal is the same as it's always been at a fairground - most people recognise it on sight, which gives your stand team an easy opening. If you want it to double as a lead-capture game, tell us what you'd like to give away as a prize, how many visitors you're expecting and the show's opening hours, and we'll build the numbers into the quote.

A trained attendant can be added to run the stall for up to three hours, which keeps your own people free for the conversations that actually sell rather than refereeing throws. Custom graphics for the case front go through our in-house branding team, same as the rest of a branded stand.

Also part of the Grand Carnival stall

If you'd rather have Tin Can Alley alongside three other games on one footprint, it's also built into one of the four bays inside our Grand Carnival Fun Fair Stalls, a larger inflatable unit from £795. This page is for the standalone flight-case version, for when a stand or event just wants the one game on its own pitch.

One stall, one supplier

We've hired out fairground side stalls from Rotherham since 1999, and around 95% of what's on this site is our own stock, stored and maintained in our 25,000 sq ft warehouse five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. Tin Can Alley comes on the same delivery, the same invoice and the same team as anything else you book alongside it.

We deliver exhibition equipment nationwide, with regular runs into NEC Birmingham, ExCeL London, Manchester Central and Olympia London, plus fun days and fetes closer to home at venues like Elsecar Heritage Centre and the Niagara Centre. Every hire carries £5 million public liability cover, and risk assessments and method statements go over to your venue or organiser before the event.

Tin Can Alley Hire Questions

How do you win at Tin Can Alley?

Each go is three throws, and you need to knock all eight numbered cans off the shelf to win - the same "all off the board" rule printed on the stall's own backboard.

What's the difference between this and the Tin Can Alley in the Grand Carnival stall?

This page is the standalone flight-case stall, on its own footprint and its own price from £295. Our Grand Carnival Fun Fair Stalls is a separate, larger inflatable unit from £795 with its own version of Tin Can Alley built into one of four bays, alongside Ring Toss, Fish Bowl and Ball in a Bucket. Book this one for the single game on its own pitch, or the Grand Carnival for four games on one footprint.

Does the stall need power?

No. It's a flight case that opens out by hand, so there's nothing to plug in and no generator to arrange, wherever it's pitched.

Are prizes included?

Not as standard. Tell us whether you'd like to run it as a prize game, with branded giveaways, or just for fun, when you enquire and we'll confirm the options for your booking.

Tin Can Alley works well on its own, though a row of side stalls gives a larger stand or event more to do. The games below sit alongside it, and there's more in our carnival games range if you're filling a bigger space.
