Bottle ring toss in a proper side stall

Players throw coloured plastic rings at rows of dark glass bottles, and a ring wins when it lands cleanly over a bottle neck. This is the bottle version of the game most people know as hoopla, and on this board there are around 60-70 bottle targets to aim at.

The bottle board travels in a red, aluminium-edged flight case with butterfly latches, whose lid opens into the striped One On To Win display. The case sits on a covered counter at standard table height, where players stand and toss, and the whole stall pitches under a red and white 3m x 3m pop-up marquee. It arrives looking like a fairground side stall rather than a folding garden game.

The game needs no power and can be used indoors or outside on grass, concrete, tarmac, wood chip or mixed surfaces. The base hire does not include an attendant, so your team can run it or we can add one of ours for up to three hours. For exhibitions and promotions, printed sticker transfers can be applied for the hire and removed afterwards. There's more on our branding service.

We've been hiring event equipment from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham since 1999, five minutes from the M1, M18 and A1. We own 95% of the equipment listed on this website and deliver and set up with our own team and vehicles: one delivery, one invoice and one booking to manage.

South Yorkshire, the East Midlands, West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester are our regular patch, and we deliver nationwide for larger packages. That includes exhibition venues such as NEC Birmingham, Manchester Central, Telford International Centre and ExCeL London.

Ring Toss Hire Questions

Does the Ring Toss stall need power?

No. The game is entirely hand-powered, so it works on pitches where there is no mains supply.

Which surfaces can the stall go on?

Indoors it can sit on artificial grass or a hard floor. Outdoors it is listed for grass, concrete, tarmac, wood chip or a mix of grass and hard surface. Tell us your surface when you enquire and we'll plan the setup around it.

Is an attendant included in the hire?

Not as standard. Your team can run the stall, or we can add one of ours for up to three hours.

Can the stall carry our branding?

Yes. Branding goes on as printed sticker transfers, applied for your hire and lifted off afterwards. Stickers are bought for a single hire period, so there's a small extra cost on branded jobs.

Is this the same game as hoopla?

Hoopla, bottle hoopla, ring the bottle and ring-a-bottle are all names for the version where rings are thrown over bottle necks. Ring toss is also used for peg and block versions of the game, so the photos on this page show the exact stall you would get.
