What the Interactive Football Challenge Is

It's a football reaction game where players kick or pass a ball at a wall of illuminated LED targets. Smart sensors pick up each hit, score it instantly, and push the total to a wireless digital leaderboard. There are three game modes built in — Score Master, Target Master, and Target Shot — so you can run it as a casual free-for-all or set it up as a proper competition with a points target.

The game goes by a few different names depending on who you're talking to. You'll see it listed as Fast Feet, Fast Feet Football Challenge, or Elite Skills Arena (ESA) on other hire company sites. It's the same sort of kit as the Kick Star interactive soccer goal system, though the exact panel layout and scoring software will vary between manufacturers. Ours is maintained and serviced at our warehouse in Rotherham before every hire.

It works because it's quick to get into and easy to watch. People don't need to read a rule sheet — they see the targets light up, they have a go, and the leaderboard gives them a reason to come back and beat their score. That's what keeps a queue moving at a busy stand.

How the Three Game Modes Work

Score Master — players take turns shooting at targets and must beat a target score set at the start of the round. It's straightforward competitive play, good for getting colleagues or friends involved without any setup.

Target Master — players have 15 shots to hit as many of the 12 targets on the wall as possible. It's an accuracy challenge rather than a speed one, and it tends to suit people who are less confident about jumping straight into head-to-head play.

Target Shot — the system lights up specific targets in sequence and players have to hit those predetermined panels. It's a bit more like a reaction game, and it's the one that tends to draw the biggest crowd because you can watch someone else trying to keep up with the sequence.

A member of our staff runs the game for up to 3 hours on each hire — they set up the course, explain the modes to visitors, keep the leaderboard going, and sort any issues that come up. If you want the game to run longer than 3 hours, just mention it when you get in touch.

You can also run a paper leaderboard alongside it for a longer event — people tend to come back throughout the day to try and knock themselves off the top.

The game needs a flat, level surface. It works on artificial grass, hard standing, or a sports hall floor. Outdoors it needs to be on a flat area — grass or hard surface — and we'd recommend a gazebo or marquee over it if the weather looks wet.

Branding Options

The game comes with branded display panels — you'll see the "northern" logo on the header in the photos, but those panels can be wrapped with your own artwork instead. Pricing below:

The printed bottom board is retained by us for future events at no charge. The sticker transfers for the scoreboard top and front wrap are for a single hire period.

Delivery charges and minimum order values may apply depending on hire duration and location. Putting it on the same delivery as other items keeps the per-item cost down, so it's worth bundling if you're hiring more than one thing.

Delivery to Exhibition Venues

We deliver from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. The Interactive Football Challenge goes out to corporate events, exhibition stands at NEC Birmingham, Manchester Central, ExCeL London, and Leeds First Direct Arena, and the same game also works at school fun days, scout events, and private celebrations across the UK. If you're putting together a sports games or interactive games package, one delivery covers everything.

We own and maintain 95% of what we hire out in-house, so there's no third-party supplier between you and the kit when something needs sorting on the day.
