Portable 9 Hole Crazy Golf Course

This is our portable crazy golf course - also called mini golf, minigolf or putting - and it comes as nine separate holes you play through in order, marking your shots on a four-player scorecard as you go. Each hole is a green turf lane with a foam obstacle to get round: a spiral ramp, a curved chicane, a banana-shaped ramp, a raised volcano cone, a flat sun disc, the odd traffic cone to dodge. You get putters in adult and child sizes, balls and tees, so a group can play it together and keep score across all nine.

The holes are built from interlocking turf tiles with foam edging round the sides, so they slot together however the space wants them. We can run the course in a line, bend it round in a U, or spread the holes out along a path to pull people in from further off. It plays the same for a five-year-old as it does for an adult, and the rules take no explaining.

What You Get and How It's Used

We hire the crazy golf for summer fetes, school fun days, freshers' fairs, university open days, corporate fun days, charity events and weddings - it works as a centrepiece on a field or as a draw on an exhibition stand. It's the sort of thing that suits a university sports park or a showground, and we deliver across the region to venues like the Sheffield Hallam Sports Park, Penistone Showground and the Yorkshire Event Centre up in Harrogate.

Everything comes branded with our green "Crazy Golf" feather flags, a printed banner panel and a table skirt for the putters and scorecards, and the scorecards themselves are printed four-player cards. The banner and skirt are flat printed surfaces, so we can wrap them with your own branding if you want the course in your colours - there's more on our branding service, all printed, fitted and removed by us.

Rachel B booked it for Shireoaks Carnival and said it was a "very professional service, super staff running the Crazy Golf on the day", which is the usual shape of a booking - it tends to go out with someone to run it as part of a wider fun day rather than on its own.

  • Putters in adult and child sizes, plus balls and tees
  • No power needed

Each hole is a turf lane a few feet long, so the nine pack into a compact zone or stretch across a field, whichever the venue calls for.

Suitability

  • Indoors on Artificial Grass
  • Indoors on Hard Surface
  • Outdoors on Grass
  • Outdoors on Hard Surface
  • Suitable for adults and children

The turf is rubber-backed and non-slip, so it sits flat on gym and hall floors, playgrounds, tarmac or grass without marking them.

All-Weather Surface

The playing surface is weather resistant and made for indoor or outdoor use all year round. It has drainage built in, so it dries quickly after a soaking, and the turf is UV protected so it won't fade after a long day in the sun. The one thing it won't take is wind, so for outdoor bookings we need a sheltered, flat spot.

We're a Rotherham firm and have been hiring out games since 1999, working out of a 25,000 sq ft warehouse five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. We own and look after the kit ourselves rather than subbing it out, so the course you book is one of ours, maintained in-house and delivered by our own drivers.

Delivery charges and minimum order values may apply depending on hire duration and location. We can usually discount several items on the same delivery - contact us for an accurate quote.

Common Questions

Can you lay it out to fit our space, or is it a fixed shape? It's not fixed. The holes are separate interlocking sections, so we can run them in a straight line, bend the course round a U, or spread the nine holes out along a path to pull people in. Tell us the space and we'll set it out to suit.

Will it mark a sports hall or gym floor? No. The turf tiles are rubber-backed and non-slip, so they sit flat without marking the floor. We've laid it on gym and hall floors, playgrounds, tarmac and grass.

Can we still use it outdoors if it's been raining? Yes, the surface has drainage built in and dries quickly, and the turf is UV protected so it won't fade in the sun. The only weather it won't take is wind, so an outdoor pitch needs to be sheltered and flat.
