Inflatable Connect 4 and Noughts & Crosses

This hire covers two inflatable board games: a Connect 4 board (also known as four-in-a-row or 4 Spot) and a Noughts & Crosses grid (also called Tic Tac Toe). Both units have a striped circus-tent top - the Connect 4 in red and white, the Noughts & Crosses in a darker maroon stripe - giving them a fairground look that reads clearly from across an event field.

The Connect 4 unit has a full 7-column, 6-row grid with red and blue inflatable disc panels. The Noughts & Crosses unit uses oversized inflatable X and O pieces on a 3×3 grid. The aim on both is the same as the originals - four in a row for Connect 4, three in a row for Noughts & Crosses - and most players can pick either up without any explanation.

Games turn over quickly on both units - Connect 4 typically runs two to three minutes, Noughts & Crosses is shorter - which makes them practical on fundraising stalls, school fun days and any event where keeping a queue moving matters. We've been hiring inflatable games from our Rotherham warehouse since 1999, and both units are owned and maintained in-house.

Two Games Together

Having both games in one hire gives you some flexibility with audiences. Noughts & Crosses is simple enough that younger children can play independently; Connect 4 takes a bit more working out and suits adults and older kids equally well as a head-to-head challenge. Running them side by side suits events where you have a wide age range and want something for everyone to have a go at.

The carnival aesthetic works well outdoors at fêtes, fun days and funfair-themed events, though both units set up fine indoors on hard flooring or sports hall surfaces too. Each unit has a 12ft footprint and stands 12ft tall when inflated, so you'll want around 14ft of clear floor space per unit.

Both need a blower running continuously to stay inflated during use. If your venue has no mains power, we can supply a petrol blower or diesel generator - just mention it when you get in touch and we'll include it in the quote. Delivery, setup and collection is by our own team in our own vehicles.

We deliver from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham - five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. We regularly cover South and West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, the East Midlands and beyond, and deliver nationwide to major event venues including the NEC Birmingham, ExCeL London, Manchester Central and Harrogate Convention Centre.
