The officially licensed Tetris Tumble XL stacking game, hired as an
add-on from £55.
How it plays
Giant Tetris is the official Tetris Tumble game - the 1984 puzzle rebuilt
as a physical stacking game you play standing up. Players take turns
placing oversized Tetrimino blocks on a moulded white base, and the base
rocks as the tower builds, so every piece shifts the balance. Head to
head, whoever topples the tower loses. On your own, it's a
how-high-can-you-stack challenge.
The shapes and colours are recognised by pretty much everyone, so nobody
needs a rules briefing. Guests walk up and start stacking, which is what
you want from a side game when the rest of the event is in full swing.
It hires out as an add-on alongside a main product, and smaller add-ons
can carry a minimum spend. Tell us what it's joining and we'll confirm
the numbers.

Space and surfaces
The moulded base is roughly 90cm across, and the set wants a clear area
of about 2m x 2m so players can get round it and the blocks have
somewhere to scatter when the tower goes. There's no power supply and
nothing to peg down.
Indoors it plays on hard floors or artificial grass. Outdoors it's happy
on grass, concrete, hard standing or wood chip, and it copes fine with a
site that mixes grass and hard surface.
Hire is unstaffed as standard - the game needs no steward, just somewhere
flat and clear. If you'd rather run it as a knockout competition, we can
add a supervisor for the day.

An official Tetris product
This is the licensed Tetris Tumble game, with the TETRIS and Tumble
branding on the base. You'll see the same game listed elsewhere as
Tetris Tumble XL or XL Tetris.
We've been hiring out exhibition games since 1999 and own around 95% of
the kit outright. This set lives in our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in
Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18, and it travels on our
own vehicles with our own team. We hold a 5/5 Google rating from more
than 200 reviews.
The moulded base is roughly 90cm across, and a clear area of about
2m x 2m covers the players and the blocks when they scatter. Flat
and clear is the only real requirement.
Does it need power or an operator?
No to both. There's no power supply and nothing to peg down, and it
runs unstaffed as standard. If you want it run as a knockout
tournament, we can add a supervisor for the day.
What surfaces can it go on?
Indoors, hard floors or artificial grass. Outdoors, grass, concrete,
hard standing or wood chip, including sites that mix grass and hard
surface. It wants level ground more than any particular surface.
Is it the official Tetris game?
Yes. Giant Tetris is the licensed Tetris Tumble game, with the
TETRIS and Tumble branding on the moulded white base and oversized
Tetrimino blocks in the classic colours.

Tetris works well in a games corner because it runs itself, and the pieces around it can do the same. Giant Connect 4 and Giant Jenga book into the same kind of event, Mega KerPlunk and giant snakes and ladders cover a lawn, and a giant deck chair or two gives spectators somewhere to sit. Tell us the venue and the crowd and we'll suggest a mix that suits both - contact us to start.
Tell us when and where the event is, what the Tetris is joining, and
anything else you want out at the same time. We'll price the lot as one
booking, and if you're building a games corner we'll suggest the pieces
that fit the space.
