Red and white striped mulled wine stall with "Winter Warmer Mulled Fruit Drink" sign, stainless steel urns, beverage dispensers, stacks of cups and decorated Christmas trees

Mulled Wine Cart

Hire from £895.

What the mulled wine cart is

It's a red-and-white striped stall that turns up at your exhibition stand or Christmas event and starts serving hot spiced drinks to anyone who walks past. We run two drinks from the same cart: a traditional mulled wine made with red wine and spices, and a non-alcoholic mulled fruit drink, so there's something for everyone on your stand.

The setup is built from two gazebos with a wooden sign reading "Winter Warmer Mulled Fruit Drink", stainless steel urns for the traditional mulled wine, and beverage dispensers for the non-alcoholic version. It's dressed with Christmas decorations - trees, stockings, bunting and a fireplace backdrop - so it looks the part at a Christmas market or a corporate lobby without your team having to do anything. The cart is set up to handle hundreds of cups an hour across a full exhibition day, which matters when you've got a busy stand and a queue forming.

Your trained server manages the pouring, restocking and queues, so your exhibition team can get on with talking to prospects instead of worrying about cups running low. Both drinks are Vegetarian Society Vegan certified, gluten-free and nut-free, which covers dietary requirements without needing a separate setup.

We've been hiring exhibition equipment from our warehouse in Rotherham since 1999, five minutes from the M1, and we own and maintain the kit in-house rather than subbing it out. Every hire comes with £5 million public liability insurance, and risk assessments and method statements get emailed to you or your venue before the event.

The two drinks

The traditional mulled wine is made with red wine, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and orange - the sort of thing you'd get at a Christmas market, warm and spiced. The non-alcoholic mulled fruit drink uses Simply Mulled Fruit Winter Warmer syrup topped with hot water, garnished with an orange slice and a cinnamon stick if you want it. It's the same warming, festive flavour without the alcohol, which makes it suitable for all-ages events and for venues where serving alcohol would need a licence.

Both drinks are Vegetarian Society Vegan certified, gluten-free and nut-free. The cart carries both at the same time, so guests can pick whichever they prefer without you needing to run two separate setups.

We've supplied this setup at Amazon offices for their staff Christmas events, at exhibition stands at the NEC in Birmingham and ExCeL in London, and at all sorts of Christmas events in between. The cart fits into high-footfall positions on or near your stand, and the festive scent tends to draw people in from across the hall.

Size and space

The setup uses two red-and-white striped gazebos side by side, so you need enough floor space for both plus room for guests to queue in front. It fits into high-footfall positions on or near your exhibition stand, and works on hard floors, carpet or artificial grass. Outdoors it needs a flat surface and a power supply for the heating urns.

What's included

  • The mulled wine cart with heating system, delivered and set up by our own team

We've also set it up at Amazon offices for their staff Christmas events.

We own and maintain 95% of what we hire out in-house, so there's no third-party supplier between you and the kit when something needs sorting on the day. If you're building a Christmas or fun food package, one delivery covers everything.

Common questions

Does the mulled wine contain alcohol, and do we need a licence?

The traditional mulled wine contains alcohol, so if you're serving it at a venue without a premises licence - an exhibition stand, for example - you'd need to think about licensing. The non-alcoholic mulled fruit drink doesn't have this issue and works at any venue. We include licensing advice with every hire, so we'll talk you through the options for your specific event and venue.

What's the difference between the traditional mulled wine and the non-alcoholic option?

The traditional mulled wine is made with red wine, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and orange - the classic spiced winter drink you'd get at a Christmas market. The non-alcoholic mulled fruit drink uses Simply Mulled Fruit Winter Warmer syrup topped with hot water, with an orange slice and cinnamon stick for garnish. Both are Vegetarian Society Vegan certified, gluten-free and nut-free, and both are served hot from the same cart so guests can choose whichever they prefer.

How much space does the cart need?

The setup uses two red-and-white striped gazebos side by side, so you need enough floor space for both plus room for guests to queue in front. It fits into high-footfall positions on or near your exhibition stand, and works on hard floors, carpet or artificial grass. Outdoors it needs a flat surface and a power supply for the heating urns.
