Tug of War Hire

The oldest team game there is, and still one of the best for getting a group to pull together - literally. Two teams take an end each, and the first to haul the centre marker past their line wins. There's nothing to set up beyond laying out the rope, no power, no rules to explain, and it scales from a handful of people to a full department lined up either side.

We supply a heavy-duty competition rope with a centre marker and distance markers, sized for events rather than a school cupboard. It's a natural finale for a corporate fun day or team-building afternoon, a staple of school and university sports days, and an easy add-on to a wider package of games.

We own and maintain our own kit and have been hiring out event games from Sheffield since 1999.

Where It Works Well

Tug of War is a natural add-on to a corporate fun day or team-building afternoon, usually as the big finish, and it goes out alongside the inflatables and active games for school and university sports days. We deliver from our Rotherham warehouse across the UK - regularly to Sheffield Hallam Sports Park, Penistone Showground and major venues nationwide. We own and maintain around 95% of what we hire out.
