Segway X2 hire gives your exhibition stand or brand activation something visitors can physically do, not just look at. Riders step on, get a quick briefing from our instructor, and navigate a coned course. It's hands-on, gets people talking, and creates a natural reason for your team to start a conversation.

Each Segway handles up to 20 riders per hour, so with two machines you can engage 40 visitors per hour at your stand or in a nearby outdoor area. The sessions are short enough to keep a steady flow of people without bottlenecks.

Practical Details for Exhibition Organisers

The Segways are battery-powered (lithium-ion, around 12 miles range per charge), so no generator or mains hookup is needed. You'll need an outdoor area of at least 20m x 40m near your venue or stand. The X2 model is designed for grass, gravel, and hard standing. Our instructor manages the entire experience, including course layout, safety briefing, helmets, and supervision.

We own 95% of our equipment and maintain it in our 25,000 sq ft warehouse near Sheffield. Our Segways are maintained and serviced in-house by our own team. Every hire includes £5 million public liability insurance, risk assessments, and method statements.

  • Flat-soled shoes required
  • Helmets provided and must be worn

Throughput

Up to 20 riders per Segway per hour. With 2 machines: 40 per hour. With 3 machines: 60 per hour.

Can the Segways be used inside an exhibition hall? No. Segways need outdoor space on grass, tarmac, or gravel. We set up the coned course in a car park, lawn, or adjacent outdoor area near your venue.

Do we need to arrange power for the Segways? No. They run on lithium-ion batteries with around 12 miles of range per charge. No mains supply or generator is needed.

Can we combine Segways with indoor exhibition games? Yes. We carry over 600 products. You can book Segways alongside indoor stand games like Batak Pro or Atari Pong on a single order.
