A Weekend of Stages, and the New Grand National at Doncaster
We've had a busy few weeks, so here's a quick run through some of the jobs that have been out lately.
A weekend of stages
It was the weekend of stages, as it goes - we had a fair few out at once. The big one was down at Hooton Lodge, where our trailer stage went up as the main stage for the Big Ink Bash, a carnival-themed event with live bands through the day. You can see it in the photo above and in the gallery below, with a full line array either side and a carnival backdrop across the back.
The same weekend we sub-hired two more stages to our friends at Centreline Productions - a main trailer stage, and our build-up 4x4 stage, which went to the Swadlincote Annual Festival. The trailer stage drives in and the sides drop down, so it's up in about an hour, and the 4x4 is a covered truss stage that builds on grass or hard standing.
A fun day at Doncaster Racecourse
We were at Doncaster Racecourse for a corporate fun day with our brand new Inflatable Grand National - a giant four-lane horse race where you bounce a space hopper horse down your own lane to the finish. It's as good to watch as it is to ride, which is what you want on a fun day. The same booking had our gigantic 220-foot Mega Assault course out alongside it, which suited the space at the racecourse well.
A branded stand for Bisto
At an exhibition we worked alongside the owners of Bisto, branding our dance machine with their artwork for the stand. Wrapping the kit to match a stand is something our in-house team does a fair bit of, and it turns a game into part of the display rather than something parked next to it. There's more on how that works on our branding page.
And the usual
In the background we're sending branded interactive games out and hiring games across the country near enough every week. If you've got an event coming up and want a hand working out what suits it, drop us a line and we'll talk it through.
