Dance Machine Hire

Hire our two-player arcade dance machine for exhibitions, brand activations and corporate events from £495 plus VAT. A trained attendant for up to three hours is included as standard.

One screen and two dance mats

This is a portable arcade dance machine with one shared cabinet and two separate hard pads. Each player follows the arrows on screen and steps on the matching panels in time with the track, with separate scores shown at the end. The control deck also lets Player 1 and Player 2 choose different difficulty levels for the same track, so one player can choose an easier level while the other uses an expert setting.

Four dance games and a varied music selection are installed, with levels running from beginner to expert. The cabinet carries the screen, the controls, two large speaker grilles and colour-changing arcade lights, while the two pads sit out in front where players and scores remain visible from the aisle.

It is also called an arcade dance machine or dance mat hire: one cabinet, one screen and two pads for head-to-head play.

Branding the dance machine

We wrapped this machine for a Bisto exhibition stand, taking the campaign artwork across the front and side panels so the cabinet sat properly within the stand design. We have also added Prime Day marks to the centre panels on both dance mats for an Amazon workplace event. Our in-house team handles the print, application and removal rather than sending the job to another supplier.

Branding uses sticker transfers for one hire period. Prices are plus VAT, and the branding page explains the artwork and sign-off process. The printed bottom board remains DB property; we can retain it for later bookings at no extra branding charge. Pad-centre graphics are available too; ask us to confirm whether they are included in the £345 full-machine option for your artwork.

If a suitable mains supply is unavailable, a generator can be quoted subject to the venue and booking size.

Multi-day and multi-venue hires

We supplied the dance machine for a full week at Manchester Arena with a scoreboard, then the same client moved on to the Bull Ring in Birmingham and hired it for the following week. It has also gone to the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool and to an outdoor event near Trafalgar Square, where the setup was under cover with power in place.

Multi-day rates are available. Longer hires can be staffed for the hours you need, while staffless hire may be possible for longer bookings. For a multi-venue run, send us the full route so we can plan deliveries, collections and branding as one booking. Matching machines may also be available for multi-site events or several competition points at one venue.

Delivery from our own warehouse

We have hired out event and exhibition games since 1999 and hold the dance machines in our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. Around 95% of the equipment on this site is ours, maintained in-house and delivered by our own team, so clients deal with DB directly if a cable or pad needs attention during a multi-day exhibition.

The dance machine is among the equipment we have delivered to Newark Showground. We also work regularly at NEC Birmingham, ExCeL London and Manchester Central, as well as venues across the UK.

Dance machine questions

Can the two players choose different difficulty levels?

Yes. Both players share the same track and screen, but each has a separate pad, score and difficulty setting. A beginner and an expert can therefore compete on the same song at different difficulty levels.

Does this dance machine have holding rails?

No. Our two hard dance pads are flat, separate platforms without rear holding rails. The cabinet stands in front of both players and carries the shared screen, controls, speakers and lighting.

How much space and power does the dance machine need?

Allow a clear 3m x 3m operating area and one standard 13A socket. It is mainly an indoor machine. An outdoor setup needs full weather cover, suitable power and a site check before we confirm it.

Can the dance machine be branded for an exhibition stand?

Yes. The front and side cabinet panels can carry full campaign artwork, and smaller campaign marks can be applied to the centre of the dance pads. We can also brand the optional magnetic leaderboard. Our in-house team prints, applies and removes the graphics for the hire period. Ask us to confirm which pad graphics are covered by the full-machine price.
