The Gold Cup is a 4-player horse racing game where visitors grab a hobby horse, straddle it and gallop as fast as they can to race their coloured cut-out horse along the course in front of them. The faster you gallop, the faster your horse moves. Each race lasts under a minute, so throughput is high and queues move quickly. The built-in commentary announces the winning horse and resets the horses to the starting post, so the next group is straight on.
It's a compact unit (1.7m x 0.9m x 1.1m, needs about 2.4m x 2.4m operating space) that fits easily onto an exhibition stand. It works on any flat surface and runs off a standard 13A socket. A trained member of DB staff operates it for the duration of your hire, keeping things moving and your stand team free to talk to visitors.
The spectator value is high. Four people frantically galloping on hobby horses while their cut-out horses race neck and neck along the course always draws a crowd from the aisles, which is exactly what you want on an exhibition stand.
Branding is available: printed skirt £169 (retained for future events at no charge), scoreboard top £29, or full front wrap £69. Add a magnetic scoreboard to run a tournament across the whole show. Combine with the Batak Pro, Prize Crane, Dance Machine or Strike a Light for a multi-game stand. DB has over 20 years' experience supplying interactive games to exhibitions at the NEC, ExCeL, Manchester Central and venues across the UK.
